These siding are offered with a re sawn texture however many prefer our hand hewn or wire brushed textures. In quartersawn pieces the grain is typically straight and plain. Warm red and blonde tones with varied knots make this a great rustic siding. We offer a full sawn 2 trim board dried and re textured on four sides.

With its tight know pattern premium douglas fir is a beautiful wood to use exposed. Rough sawn textured with 8 in on center grooves for a beautiful rustic appearance the inner core of the panel is made from strong western softwood veneers and fully water resistant nauf phenolic resin douglas fir siding provides a more traditional vertical siding look. In flatsawn pieces typically seen in rotary sliced veneers the wood can exhibit wild grain patterns. As one of the most common species in american forests douglas fir is strong and straight grained.
